Fathers Day

We had all the Ford's over for a Barbque to celebrate Fathers day yesterday. By the time I decided to take a picture of all the fathers, Mickey & Shawn had already left, so, here are all the Fathers minus Shawn. They look pretty good don't they? Well, this was about the 10th take - Rita had to rearrange the guys to separate a few of them (not mentioning any names) so they would stop messing around. Here are a few of the mess ups:

Biking at Camp Pendleton

Today we didn't have anything to do - so we decided to go for a bike ride at Camp Pendleton.
We rode for 21 miles - a very nice ride. Everything was going great - we were on our way back when several bus loads of marines went by and Bob said "hey, look at those guys - they are all sleeping." As I looked over at the buses, I overshot my handlebars and they went into Bobs back wheel and I crashed - right in front of the bus (which happened to have a bus load of marines that weren't sleeping - they were probably laughing at me).
Any way - I only got a hole in my pants and my handle bars we just straightened out - alls well that ends well!!

It's About Time

We have decided to start a blog to keep all our friends and family up to date on whats going on with our busy life. It seems that we are always on the go - sometimes we are at home - and sometimes we are off on crazy adventures. This way, with a blog, we can keep you up to date with all the happenings and goings ons of the "Ford Family".
